Our interior design process isn’t too different from our remodeling process. Just as we do with our kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling projects, we start with a consultation to learn more about your wishes, as well as to get a feel for your space and provide more information about our pricing. Then we’ll get to work on our plans for your home, which is a process we refer to as programming. We will measure the space, create a color and finish palette, and develop options for a floor plan. Many people choose interior design to lighten up a space that feels bleak, cramped, or uninviting, and we take care to create a brand new space that’s gracious and welcoming. Then, we’ll fine-tune our drawings and work with you to make the design and material selections for this project. Once we’ve firmed up the scope of work, you’ll sign a contract and we’ll acquire the materials. As soon as all of the materials arrive, we’ll get to work on your refresh. Before we close out the job, we’ll work with you to develop a punch list of everything that must be completed in order for you to consider the job done.
